McKenna Elementary School modernization and addition transformed the multi-building campus into one main building. The previous structures included two portables and several buildings dating back to the 1960’s. The new McKenna Elementary School has a traditional appearance with a bell tower at the entry.

The school includes a new student/ bus loading zone with entry and a new main school entry. The gymnasium/cafeteria has a stage that serves as a music classroom. Clerestory windows add daylight to the library and computer lab. The new organization of circulation and classrooms has integrated the campus providing a more secure environment for learning.
